We are getting closer and closer to the realization of a new gateway sign to Carytown, working with some excellent partners in the City and some dedicated contractors who will be handling the project.   As you may know, we went through a major effort to re-design the corner sign where the old wood sign used to be. Once we (and the City) realized this was VDOT property, and we could not permit a permanent sign there after all, we investigated the option of erecting an over-the-street- sign further up the block. We have been working since then on this new and better iteration, and there is progress being made.   We will share further details and timeline at the next member meeting on April 3rd! If you can’t make the meeting, an email with updated imagery and information will follow.
